About
Our work moves through a research, policy, and practice cycle, translating evidence into action. We partner with governments and stakeholders at regional, national, and county levels to expand access to high-quality health services. We listen first, then co-create solutions that bridge communities, facilities, and policies, rooted in dignity and trust.
We support 206,000+ people living with HIV in accessing life-sustaining antiretroviral therapy — achieving 95% viral suppression across our supported facilities.
We reach young people with HIV, SRH, and GBV information through our one2one™ digital platform, OKY App, and community-based services across Kenya.
We integrate mental health services across all our programs — ensuring adolescents, key populations, and people living with HIV can access mental health support alongside other care.
Since 2009, we have strengthened community health systems using participatory approaches — ensuring the most marginalized populations have a voice in their own care.
We work with national and county governments to build sustainable health systems — improving governance, financing, and service delivery across 34 counties.
We develop and promote digital health solutions — including one2one™, OKY App, REACH, and tele-counselling — to expand access to quality care for underserved communities.
GBV is defined as including “acts that inflict physical, mental or sexual harm or suffering, threats of such acts, coercion and other denials of liberty.” It refers to violence that targets individuals on the basis of their gender.

Take the dose as soon as you remember. This will increase the amount of ARVs in the blood hence reduce the chances of one developing drug resistance.
This is a test that checks the amount of the HIV virus in the body. It is important because it indicates whether treatment is working in an individual or not.
